Summer adventures

It's been too crazy around here to have posted anything, so now I have a lot to catch up on. We've had a pretty adventurous summer. Instead of listing them individually, I'm going to smoosh them all together.
April: Our first trip was the Caribbean cruise from Puerto Rico. I've already posted that, so you'll have to scroll down to check that one out.

April:
5th - 14th: Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, St. Kitts,St. Lucia. Spent one whole week. I can only call it fabulous. Because it was.

May:
1st: Mesquite. I took a quick weekend trip with the girls for some R & R. It was so relaxing and perfect.

June:
9th: Lake Tahoe. Took the kids. I've never been before so I was amazed to see all those huge casinos in the middle of the mountains. Very strange. But what a beautiful place.

15th: Page, Arizona/Lake Powell. Me, Chase and Julian went for 5 days down to visit Grandpa Dodds. After it rained for three days, we crammed a lot into two more days. We went down the Colorado River on a tour raft. Cousin Andy came with us and we had such a great time squirting water guns and enjoying the sunshine. Oh, how beautiful it was there being under all those giant red cliff walls. Amazing. We also spent the rest of that day at Lake Powell, riding Uncle Jims Sea Doo's and playing on the beach. That's always my favorite part of Page. Being so close to Lake Powell. Grandpa took us golfing the last day and it was so much fun.

July:
4th: Park City for the fireworks. Took Chase's friend Baron and we all went down the Alpine Slide. Had a great time.

9th: Island Park, Idaho/Yellowstone. Spent 5 days at an amazing cabin. Chase took his friend Trevor and we all had the most relaxing and the most fun time in a long time. Grandma and Grandpa helped with everything from doing all the shopping, all the cleaning, all the cooking and helping with the kids so much that we got to stay up til we wanted and sleep in like we wanted to. It was like being a teenager, living with your parents again. That was the best of both worlds. We also took the trip up to Yellowstone one day and the kids got to see lots of animals and Old Faithful. The rest of the time we visited, enjoyed the hot tub, rode the atv's everywhere, and we saw some beautiful falls on our way home. What a perfect trip!

August:
21st: Going to Vegas. Will post pics after they're taken.

September:
3rd: Chad and I are going to Cabo San Lucas for our 13th Anniversary. Will post pics later!
