Our weekend in Park City

Our weekend up at the Silver Star Condo in Park City was amazing. It was just as relaxing, fun, silly, beautiful as we hoped it would be. The condo itself was absolutely stunning. The pics don't do it justice. It had a huge living area, an amazing gourmet kitchen, three bedrooms, three and a half baths, a laundry room, all upgraded appliances, an Ipod dock built into the wall, etc. It also had a huge wrap-around deck with a big hot tub. It also overlooked the golf course. It really was breath-taking.

We invited our friends, Becca & Kevin, and Natalie & Ben to spend the weekend with us. They were as fun as always. Our stay started out with a lunch at Bistro 412 (I swear I'm addicted to that goat cheese salad). Then we headed to the condo. That's when we discovered that one of the bedrooms had bunk beds. Luckily Ben and Natalie were gracious enough to act excited to take the room, or maybe they really were. Anyway, we had so much fun and we got to be as silly as we were when we were kids. It was absolutely the relaxation that Chad and I have needed. We ended the night with pizza in the hot tub. And yes, I mean literally, there was pineapple in the hot tub in the morning. Then everyone stopped for breakfast at Squatters and had a yummy meal. It was an amazing weekend and I'm so glad we spent it with such great friends!

Lagoon and Fireworks

The morning of the 24th we went to Lagoon. We met up with Becky and Becca and their kids. We had a blast. Chase ran around with the older kids while Julian and I rode all the kiddie rides. It was so much fun seeing his little face light up. The only bummer thing is that my camera battery died so I hardly got ANY pictures, and the ones I did get were blurry. boo hoo.
Anyway, then we went to Becca and Kevin's house for a BBQ/firework party. We had so much fun! Julian was in heaven because Becca had all kinds of Cinderella dresses for him to play in and he ate that right up. We couldn't get him out of this little yellow number. Chase was a little embarrassed but he had fun lighting fireworks so he was distracted. Then he got to hang out with the kids all night. We had so much fun that we didn't realize it was 2:00 a.m. when we left. Owell, it was worth it! We had a great day!

Two days of festivities

The 24th of July celebrating started on the 23rd. Beginning with our night at Grandma and Grandpas for a yummy BBQ and fireworks. Earlier in the day I bought $150 worth of fireworks . Half were supposed to be for the 23rd and the other half for the 24th. Well, we ended up bringing about two boxes of sparklers and some snaps home with us. Also, my parent's neighbor Russell brought his two boys over, along with some "real" fireworks. That topped off our night. Also, my Uncle Greg was there and we haven't seen him for a very long time, so it was nice.
